Leanne Hughes

Leanne has 20+ years experience and expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Leanne’s years of clinical experience have lead her to work with a large range of clients, injuries and conditions. From those who are immobile following hip/ knee and shoulder surgery, through to high level functioning, professional and Olympic athletes. 

Leanne is highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of low back pain, pelvis and hip pain. Leanne has helped hundreds of clients decrease pain and improve their posture. From cyclists, runners and dancers to pregnant women, new mums, and those with chronic injuries. 

Leanne is committed to achieving optimal health and wellbeing with each client. She has a passion for educating and training the body to perform at its best which she does through Physiotherapy treatments and Clinical Pilates strength and retraining programs. These exercises can be prescribed as home exercises, performed in one-on-one private sessions or in small group classes.

Rebecca Feros

Rebecca has completed her qualifications in Exercise Sport Science and Physiotherapy with additional training in Sport Physiotherapy and Pilates. She has brought her ethics and passion for Physiotherapy to Inspire Physiotherapy and Pilates, Dee why. 

Rebecca has a passion for treating all Sports Injuries and preparing clients for their next sporting event. Her training enables her to identifying core weaknesses in her clients to develop targeted rehabilitation programs. Rebecca enjoys sharing her insights with her clients enabling them to learn self-management techniques and ultimately rehabilitate clients back into their desired activity. Her clients come from all areas of life and human movement; from sportspeople to office workers and pre/post natal mums.

Katriana Wong
Physiotherapist 
MPhty, BSc (Exercise Rehabilitation)

Katriana is an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who recently completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Previously in Canada she completed her Bachelor of Science, Major in a Sport Science equivalent in Active Health and Rehabilitation. She has had the opportunity to work alongside adults with diverse conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative conditions, spinal infections, nerve injuries and fractures. Katriana has a passion for rehabilitation and to help others achieve their full potential of health.

Her interest in human movement began at a young age as a competitive dancer and swimmer. In dance she spent 10+ years in mastering various styles such as ballet, pointe, jazz, tap and many more. Understanding and going through injuries herself Katriana is able to recognise the importance of quality movement, patient education and self-management.

Amy-Nicole Peters
Massage Therapist

Amy-Nicole discovered her passion for helping others through the modality of Massage through her own personal quest to find relief from musculoskeletal pain. The treatments she provides are both preventative and restorative as she works with clients on their individual goals and needs for each session.

Through the use of a variety of Therapeutic Massage techniques including Myofascial Release, Deep tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Modern cupping technique, Swedish Massage and Postural assessment Amy-Nicole aims to help you to relieve pain, improve mobility, help rehabilitate injuries and reduce stress.

  • Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Northern Institute of Sydney

Gunda Lehmann
Physiotherapist | Clinical Pilates Teacher
Dip Phty, APAM

Gunda has 15+ years experience as a Physiotherapist, initially undertaking her training in Germany. After moving to Australia in 2007 Gunda undertook the arduous re-qualification process successfully, which enabled her to continue her career as a Physiotherapist in Australia. She has worked in both the hospital setting and in private practices.

Leanne and Gunda have worked together for many years and share a like-minded approach to treatment, using manual therapy and prescribed exercises to tailor a treatment program for each client. Gunda also teaches mat and equipment based Clinical classes.

Through Gunda’s years of hospital experience she has gained a depth of knowledge and skill in pre-op preparation and post-op rehabilitation, progressing clients from day 1 post-op to full recovery. 

Apart from being a passionate Physiotherapist, Gunda is an active mother of two, and in her spare time can be found at the beach surfing, swimming, running and enjoying the great outdoors.

Claudine Jacobs
Receptionist

Two years ago Claudine made Australia home, moving from South Africa with her husband and two sons. Claudine is now our friendly and efficient receptionist at Inspire Physiotherapy and Pilates, Dee Why.

Claudine’s many years of experience in administration, running her own au pair recruitment company and teaching in pre-schools in South Africa, makes her our office superstar. Her organisation skills keep the practice running smoothly for clinicians and clients alike.
